Camping on Board

If you are travelling with a camper or caravan on one of the international routes, ANEK LINES offer you the possibility to stay in your camper/caravan by booking your vehicle on the "OPEN DECK" (camping on board). This means that for the price of a simple a deck ticket per person plus the price for the vehicle, you can sleep in your camper/caravan and have free access to 220V electricity and the use of the shower and W.C. facilities throughout your voyage.

The Camping on Board service is offered on all Anek ferries to/from Ancona. Anek Lines do not offer the Camping on Board Service on the Venice Line.

This service is available from the 1st April to the 31st October.

- Self Service Restaurant :

ANEK LINES recognize that good food is part of a memorable journey and that is why our restaurants and self-service facilities offer such gastronomical delights that can only be described as heavenly temptations! Naturally, all the ingredients we use to prepare our dishes come from Crete!

All the prices of the items sold in the shops are compatible along with the high quality offered. All major credit cards are accepted.

- Casino :

The reception desk personnel are available 24 hours for your information and services. At the reception you may also find an exchange Bureau.
Wake-up: Relax and enjoy your sleep. The next day we will wake you up at whatever hour you request. Simply request this service from RECEPTION, and sleep well!

- Internet :

Access to the INTERNET at sea too! Either in the INTERNET CAFE which you will find on all our ships, or directly from your laptop computer via WiFi wireless satellite connection, we are online at high speeds for you and only you! Simply purchase prepaid cards of half an hour or an hour from the
bar and the shops.

- Pet Accommodation :

Special kennels are provided for the maximum comfort of your beloved pet. Owners are responsible for the care, safety and hygiene of their pets
and must observe all laws and regulations related to the above. There is a special area available for your pet's daily hygiene.

- Doctor-Hospital :

On an ANEK ship you are safe!
For emergency medical incidents there is a specially designed and fully equipped hospital area and pharmacy in accordance with international specifications. At the same time, through a continuous connection with the TELEHEART medical tracking system, timely diagnosis and directions for immediate handling of cardiological incidents are provided, until the patient can be moved to the appropriate hospital.
Finally, ANEK provides all its passengers with the excellent insurance protection of INTERAMERICAN completely free of charge. With the pioneering service "Safe together !" you are covered from the moment you embark on the ship until 7 days after.

- Handicapped Persons :

Special cabins, common areas and specially equipped escalators for passengers with special needs to make their trip pleasant and comfortable.

- Currency Exchange :

The accepted currency on board is EURO. A Currency Exchange bureau is located at the Reception area for your convenience. Our shops accept all major credit cards.

- ATM :

On ANEK ships, you can make your key bank transactions on the automatic teller machines.

Embarkation / Maps

Boarding starts 3 hours prior to departure. Passengers must check at the port agencies at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure. After that, ANEK LINES reserve the right to cancel the reservation without giving any fare refund. All passengers must have the necessary valid travel documents with them. The company reserves the right not to allow a passenger aboard the ship in case they do not have the necessary travel documents.

Passengers taking a caravan or camper with them must check in at least 2.5 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
Delayed arrival of the camper may not allow it's owners to take it on board the open deck.

for 7 days after. When you travel by ANEK LINES ships, you are covered by the «Safely together» service ensuring unique benefits for yourselves.

What is the «Safely together» service

The pioneer service «Safely together» is the product of the cooperation
of two major companies. An especially planned Medical Assistance program
by INTERAMERICAN, which only ANEK in the field of transportation and ferry sector offers, free of charge, to all its passengers from their embarkation on its ships and for 7 days after the trip and for all ANEK LINES destinations!

In emergency cases of a sudden health problem or an accident away from home, INTERAMERICAN! Medical Assistance stands by your side, in order for any incident to be faced as quickly and effectively as possible.It specifically organizes, if needed, your transportation by ambulance, adequately equipped helicopter or even aircraft) to the appropriate hospital, so that you are treated immediately and in the best possible way.

Extra benefits, exclusively for ANEK passengers «Safely together» ensures a series of additional benefits that will help you and your family
face the implications of an accident or an emergency health incident, effectively and fully.

It specifically ensures:

• Repatriation of members of your family
   Repatriation of those members of your family that travel with you: the travel expenses for the return of the other
   members of your family to your place of residence in Greece are covered.
• Hospitalization outside Greece

to provide you with responsible medical advice and guidance. Specialized personnel will take on, if considered necessary, the organization and coordination of your sanitary transfer by the appropriate means (ambulance, helicopter or airplane), so that you quickly receive the necessary
medical treatment.
